Round 3 of the 6 round Nitroflight challenge took place at Stocksbridge leisure center, this time round saw a fast flowing track rewarding a good clean consistant drive, the carpet surface showed good high grip levels throughout the day even in the cold conditions. Adam and his TOP Photon was looking for a good result to keep pushing Johnny Aird the championship leader in the 10.5 class. 

The race format was 1 practice, 3qualifying and two legged finals as well as a concourse.

Practice:

Adam spent this time testing a different setting using the thicker 1.4 top photon roll bar on the front of the car which proved to be really good stiffining the front of the car giving it that little more bite mid corner. I used the roll bar for the rest of the day, it proved to work well with the grip improving all day. The 5 min practice allowed everyone to get a good practice and get use to the track.

Qualifying:

Adam's top photon was flying all the way through qualifying and recorded the fastest time of the day taking pole and TQ as well as the fastest lap of the day. Ben Put managed to finish second and Adam Smith driving another TOP Photon finished qualifying in 3rd.

Finals:

The finals consisted of two legs and Adam starting from pole won both legs followed by Ben Put in 2nd and Adam Smith brought his TOP Photon home in third. Adam won a box of chocolates for the win but Adam was alot more impressed for his first TQ and Win with the TOP Photon.
