The final round of the six round Carpet Wars series saw Olly collect his championship trophy but not before a tough and hard fought last round for the Muchmore driver. Olly held FTD after the first two rounds of qualifying with his Hot Bodies Cyclone but then lost out to his Mirage team mate Elliott Harper. Olly lined up second for the A final but from the start piled the pressure on Elliott, after a few laps of very close racing Elliott left the door open and Olly squeezed through to take the lead, a lead he kept to the end to take yet another A final win. Fellow Muchmore team driver Chris Grainger had a troubled round, like Olly Chris now turns his attention to the start of the BRCA national series. Olly takes the carpet wars title ahead of Corrally driver Glen Doman and Yokomo’s Lee Woodhams, Elliott Harper took top junior.
