It’s been a cracking start to the indoor winter racing for MuchMore team driver Olly Jefferies, through the winter Olly’s main objective was the Carpet Wars series organised by Maritime Racing in Kent, round one saw Olly take FTD in front of fellow MuchMore driver and national champion Chris Grainger.

In the A final Olly quickly built up a lead but in the dying seconds of the race Olly had a cell fail and his car dropped to four cell modified car and Chris was able to close in and take the win. Second on the day and FTD meant Olly tied for points with Chris in round one and a good solid start to the season.

Taking a break from the domestic winter championship Olly made a trip to the HPI Orion Classic held at Zillisheim in France.  Olly took FTD ahead of euros FTD man Steve Weiss, Olly finished third after some confusion over the rules, the winner being decided on fastest final time, Olly was left kicking himself after the last final where he coasted to the win without pushing to hard, a quicker time by one second would have given him the overall win. 

The second round of Rug Racers saw a another FTD for Olly in front of two  MuchMore team mates Chris Grainger and Ben Cosgrove, Olly controlled the finals in the same way he dominated qualifying taking two straight A final wins with Ben coming home second for a MuchMore 1-2.

Next up for Olly will be the second round of Carpet Wars this weekend
