MuchMore Score  Top Five at BRCA Modified National Round 2.

Modified report (stock report coming soon!)

Round 2 of the BRCA national series and it was on to the Aldershot circuit in Hampshire, MuchMore were well represented by pre race favourite Chris Grainger, racing on what to him is almost a local track, Andy Moore and Olly Jefferies were present and hoping to put in a solid performance after a mixed bag of results at the first round at Stafford. Craig Drescher was also there with the new TC5 and he was hoping for a repeat of his first round result.

After three rounds of qualifying Chris Grainger with his Yokomo held FTD with the Hot Bodies pair of Andy and Olly second and third, the pace was quick and nine of the top ten five cell brushless cars were inside the previous six cell track record, Craig seemed to struggle a little for pace but was on the grid for the A final in fifth place.

The first final was memorable for the great battle up front between Chris, Andy and Olly, all three took turns at leading as the big crowd watched some extremely close racing, nobody could have predicted the winner but just past the half way point Olly made a mistake which dropped him down a place, Andy was left to take the win in front of Chris with Ben Cosgrove third for X-ray, Olly recovered to fourth.

The second final was spoilt for Olly when he got hit off at the first turn, up front Andy Chris battled again but Chris was holding on this time knowing that a win with his FTD would be enough tot take the meeting overall, this he achieved. Andy Moore was second for Hot Bodies with Olly fighting back to take the last podium place. Craig netted fourth for Associated with Ben fifth.

Next big meeting on the domestic calendar is the MuchMore Scottish Grand Prix in three weeks time at Stonehaven, with round 3 of the nationals the week after that..
