The BRCA National touring car championship kicked off at the weekend with the 19 turn drivers in battle around the Snetterton track whilst the modified and stock drivers were at a cloudy but dry Stafford.

It was a great start to the season for a number of Muchmore backed drivers at round one of BRCA touring car series.

In the 27 turn class Jimmy dominated taking FTD and two straight A final wins while Andy took the first leg of the modified finals.  Problems in the second one let Craig Drescher in for a much deserved 2nd leg win with the his Associated TC.

New rules and new control tyres for 2007 made it an interesting start to the season with the new five cell brushless class putting a broad smile on the faces of existing modified drivers and the those new converts making their way from the 19 turn super stock class.

The overall result saw a 1-2-3 for Muchmore in the modified class with Chris Grainger taking the win form Ben and Olly, Andy’s result spoilt by a DNF in the second leg.
